Built in a studio, between run-throughs.
ReviewCoach started the way most crews do: a coach, a phone full of practice clips, and feedback scattered across three chat apps. "Watch your left hand around the middle" is not a note anyone can act on. So I built the tool I wished I had — a place where every note points at the exact second it's about, and the conversation keeps going until the move clicks.
What we believe
The clip is the stage
Video and its thread get the room. Chrome recedes. If a screen makes you hunt for the footage, we rebuilt it.
Feedback is a conversation
A note at 0:14 is the start, not the verdict. Replies, re-takes, and an approval when it lands — dialogue, not ticket triage.
Encourage, don't grade
Critique lives in the coach's words. The product's own voice stays warm — progress framed positively, always.
Fast for the coach's hands
Reviewing is repetitive work between classes. Every saved click compounds across a queue, so we obsess over the small stuff.

Social dancer and instructor in Toronto — salsa on1, on2, some casino, since starting at uni fifteen years ago. Been leaning on video reviews from coaches and YouTube for inspiration ever since, and built ReviewCoach on the bet that other dancers would find the same thing useful.
