A skeleton drawn over your own clip

Watching your own footage back rarely tells you where your arm actually was. A live pose overlay draws a stick figure over the clip so you can see your own form, not just remember it.

Watching your own take back, most dancers can tell something looks off — the arm feels late, the turn feels wide — without being able to point at exactly where. The footage shows the whole body at once, and your eye has to do the work of isolating one joint from everything else moving around it.

We added a pose overlay that does that isolating for you: a stick figure tracks your joints as the clip plays, drawn right over the footage.

An overlay, not a scorecard

This is deliberately just a visual aid for now. It draws where your joints are; it doesn't measure your elbow angle, compare you to a reference clip, or grade the take. Seeing your own arm's actual path is already useful on its own, and it's the honest place to start before promising anything more automated.

Where this is headed

Comparing a tracked skeleton against a reference clip's is the obvious next step, but it isn't built. For now, the overlay is available on any clip in the player, visible to whoever's watching — the point is simply to turn "my arm was late" from a feeling into something you can actually see.
